Job Description/Responsibilities
* Prepare bank and broker reconciliation on a monthly basis. *Analyse the underlying transactions and prepare the relevant journal entries in a timely manner to correct all errors/omissions. *Ensure that all relevant transactions are recorded in the General Ledger (GL) and sub-ledger accounts in a timely manner *Prepare and enter Journals to the GL, including those for staff payroll transactions, prepaid expenses, interest on staff loans, etc. on a monthly basis *Performs work of a technical or analytical nature, requiring special skills, training and related experience *Analyze the underlying transactions of relevant expense accounts, reconcile these accounts to the GL and prepare the relevant schedules and submit for review on a quarterly basis. *Relieve Accounts Payable function as necessary ensuring payments are done in timely manner *Supports the team’s efforts to meet deadlines while maintaining quality *Works with other departments and management regarding processes and procedures; *Preparation of GCT, Withholding Taxes and other statutory returns, ensuring accurate and timely filings; *Ad-hoc analysis based on the requirements of management and Group *Any other duties that may be assigned
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting. • At least 1 year experience of accounting experience. • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. • Working knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local regulations. • Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work under pressure. • Excellent organizational skills.
